This is a genuine 1945 dated example that was built up by Dr Roger Payne in the 1990’s. The rifle has matching numbers to the bolt action and it retains its 1945 dated Longbranch barrel which is in very good condition. The “ TEL STG C No32 Mk3” scope is genuine but has a mismatched number to the rifle. The scope bracket is one of Roger Payne’s excellent reproductions, it has a 1917 dated sling and there is a Canadian marked oil bottle and pull through in the butt. This is a very good example of a rare WWII sniper rifle
