This is a war time 1943 dated rifle which has matching numbers to the bolt, action & woodwork. It has the correct Long Branch MkIII rear sight and is in good overall condition including the two groove barrel which passes gauging for breech & muzzle wear. The butt appears to have been changed at some point but it is Canadian marked so it was likely to have been done in service.
