This is a 1891 dated example of a very rare rifle. It is complete and correct with matching numbers to the bolt & action. It has the correct 8 round straight magazine and comes with its correct contemporary sling. The Butt Disc would indicate that it was the property of the Royal Berkshire Regiment, the Metford barrel appears to be in good order and it should perform well with hand loaded lead bullets, I do not advise the use of modern FMJ rounds. An excellent rifle for the true Enfield collector.
