This is a new Gunsmith conversion of a B.S.A (M47C) 1943 dated No4 Mk1 service rifle. Similar to the .22 No9 Parker Hale conversions it is single shot with the .303 barrel being relined to .22. The rifle retains all of its original features with the exception of the rear sight which has been changed to a .22 “Harmonized” one. The Walnut woodwork is in very good condition for its age with the normal knocks and dings that you would expect to find on a service rifle. It benefits from a brand new proof.
