This .22 War Office Pattern rifle is one of the rarer magazine fed versions, it has matching numbers and is in good overall condition. It has the fore sight protector that is so often missing and is complete with a windage adjustable rear sight. The five shot magazine appears to be a replacement, the barrel is generally good with some wear to the throat which is common on WO Pattern rifles, it was designed to give cadets a similar sight picture to the then in service .303 SMLE service rifle.
