This is a Herstal -Belqique built rifle that probably started life in .30-06 caliber for Columbian military as it still carries the crest on the top of the action. The 7.62 caliber has been burnt into the base of the butt which would indicate that it was probably converted for the Israeli Armed forces. It is in exceptional condition indicating that it had very little service life if any.
